JORGE BONIFACIO

Protecting Jorge Bonifacio is a no brainer. The rookie has come into the major leagues and has become a legitimate factor at the plate, which is obviously a great thing to see.

In just 176 at bats, Bonifacio has slashed .250/.307/.443 with nine home runs and 23 RBI. The kid has been great offensively and has been a stable option to stick in right field. Right field has been a longstanding problem for the Royals and they’re not about to let some other franchise take their potential solution.

Bonifacio would be a prime candidate for a team to pluck off a roster. He’s only 24 years old and is showing both power and good hitting abilities at the plate. With 50 games under his belt as a major leaguer, Bonifacio has become one of the best hitters for the Kansas City Royals this season.

For a team not to want a player like Jorge Bonifacio, that’d be crazy. He’s, without a doubt, getting protected by the Royals.
