KC Royals: Five players to watch in second series vs Yankees
MIKE MINOR
I’ve really failed to address just how good Mike Minor‘s been in these posts, but a lot of that is because whenever I do, they tend to implode shortly after (cough Peter Moylan cough). If that happens, I am sincerely sorry, Mike Minor.
Is there a chance that the KC Royals could decide to start Mike Minor in an upcoming game?
Anyway, Minor has been clutch out of the pen for the Royals. He currently is posting an ERA of 1.90 in 18 appearances and 23.2 innings pitched and has yet to allow a home run.
When it comes to the Royals bullpen, Joakim Soria is the best reliever (this time last year, people would have hurled tomatoes at me for saying that), but Mike Minor isn’t far behind. The Royals took a chance on signing Minor prior to the 2016 season and he’s finally paying dividends for the organization.
Is there a chance that the KC Royals could decide to start Mike Minor in an upcoming game? As of now, I say don’t mess with a good thing. Minor has been stellar out of the pen and that’s not something the rest of the Royals relievers can really say.
