Kansas City Sports: Most Despised Athletes to Kansas City Fans

When it comes to Kansas City sports, fans in this city are passionate. Whether it’s at Arrowhead Stadium, which broke the record for loudest outdoor stadium, or at Kauffman Stadium with the “Let’s go Royals” chants, KC fans love their sports teams.

Another thing that Kansas City sports fans enjoy is rooting against the players who seem to have a lot of success against the local teams here or guys who just rub our fans the wrong way. That’s why I decided to compile a list of the most despised athletes for Kansas City natives.

These don’t have to be current athletes, they can be retired or currently playing. They also don’t have to have had success against the Chiefs or the Royals, just guys who really get under our fans’ skin and who we enjoy trolling a little bit.

Another interesting tidbit I’m going to throw in here is that some players actually played for Kansas City, but a major mishap or not doing enough in the most critical of moments has made them forever hated by Kansas City sports fans.
