Go Bowling 400 Top 15 Racers To Watch – #9
Matt Kenseth – No. 20 Toyota: Joe Gibbs Racing
He may not be very high in the NASCAR Cup Series standings right now, but Matt Kenseth has solid history at Kansas Speedway. That includes a victory in the Go Bowling 400 back in 2013. He needs this track to be friendly to him again if he wants to get up into the playoff picture.
Matt Kenseth is usually one of the best drivers in NASCAR, but age may be catching up to him. His last two races have been worth forgetting. However, he does have several top ten finishes on the year, and just one race can turn things around in a hurry.
It’s early in the year, so Matt Kenseth has time to turn things around. However, he needs to get started soon. This week’s race at Kansas Speedway offers him an excellent chance to do that. A friendly track for a good driver is usually a recipe for success.
