Go Bowling 400 Top 15 Racers To Watch – #14

Clint Bowyer – No. 14 Ford: Stewart-Haas Racing

Even in his hey days, Clint Bowyer didn’t win much at Kansas Speedway. Currently 12th in the NASCAR Cup Series, Bowyer needs a strong finish at the Go Bowling 400 to avoid slipping further in the standings.

A strong showing at Bristol had a lot of people believing that Clint Bowyer was turning things around this season. However, his last two finishes quieted that quickly and is more in line with what fans were expecting. Still, he is a veteran driver and has shown he can still have an impact.

I wouldn’t expect Bowyer to be a real threat to win this week, but he can certainly make a strong run. A top ten or even five finish is not out of the question, and would help him out a lot in the standings for the playoffs.
