Go Bowling 400 Top 15 Racers To Watch – #15

Dale Earnhardt Jr – No. 88 Chevrolet: Hendrick Motorsports

It’s the final Go Bowling 400 for one of the most popular drivers in NASCAR. Dale Earnhardt Jr is doing his goodbye tour on the track this year as he is set to retire when the season is done. That is more than enough reason for many fans to make their way to Kansas Speedway this week.

It hasn’t been a good year for Dale Earnhardt Jr, as he has just one top five finish on the season. However, he is a good enough driver to always be at least something of a threat. Much of the aggressiveness is gone as he is likely thinking on his future. However, you never know when he’ll kick it up for one more go at a win.

The Earnhardt legacy now lies in the hands of Jeffrey Earnhardt. So the name will live on for fans to cheer for. However, this year’s tour is for many racing fans what Derek Jeter’s goodbye tour was for baseball fans.
