NASCAR: 15 drivers to watch in the Go Bowling 400
By Ben Almquist
Go Bowling 400 Top 15 Racers To Watch – #6
Kyle Larson – No. 42 Chevrolet: Chip Ganassi Racing
This week’s Go Bowling 400 will be a prime opportunity for Kyle Larson to jump out in front in the NASCAR Cup Series. Larson is currently sitting in third place in the standings, but leads the field in points on the year. A victory at Kansas Speedway would put him out in front of Brad Keselowski and Jimmy Johnson.
Kyle Larson has finished in the top ten in six of ten races this year, which is a very strong start. However, he has finished outside of the top ten in each of his last two races. That means momentum isn’t necessarily on his side right now.
With Larson well within striking distance of the leaders, this year’s NASCAR Cup figures to be an exciting one. He’s got a great opportunity here at the Go Bowling 400. However, he could also falter in the standings if he isn’t able to get the ship righted.
Westgate odds: 6-1
