Go Bowling 400 Top 15 Racers To Watch – #7

Martin Truex Jr. – No. 78 Toyota: Furniture Row Racing

Sitting in fourth in the NASCAR Cup Series standings, Martin Truex Jr has to know that the Go Bowling 400 is a great opportunity for him. He’s never won at Kansas Speedway, but that shouldn’t stop him from putting up a strong showing this weekend.

Outside of 2015, Martin Truex Jr has never really been a top tier racer on the NASCAR circuit. That makes it especially important that he keeps having strong showings every week. Truex has finished top ten in six races this year. He’s got to keep that going.

Truex is coming off of a bad week at Talladega though, ending up with the 35th spot. He needs a strong rebound to avoid being passed up. There are a few drivers in position to jump ahead of him if he can’t put together a good race.

Westgate odds: 6-1
