The NASCAR circuit is coming to Kansas City for the Go Bowling 400. Here are the top 15 racers to watch in this weekend’s race.

Break out the lawn chairs and crack a cold one, because we’re going racing! That’s right, this weekend NASCAR comes back to Kansas City for the Go Bowling 400. This is the first of two annual events at Kansas Speedway for the NASCAR Cup circuit.

The Go Bowling 400 is still a new race in the NASCAR Cup Series, with this being just the seventh running. The event has yet to have any driver win twice. However, its sister event at Kansas Speedway, The Hollywood Casino 400, has been around for a bit. That is where most drivers will be getting the bulk of their experience on this track.

We are currently ten races into the NASCAR season. The Cup Series is coming off an exciting finish at Talladega for the Geico 500. That race ended with a big wreck and a first ever win for Ricky Stenhouse Jr. It will be hard to top that for action and excitement.

The numbers are currently down for NASCAR as it tries to compete with a host of other major sporting events. That’s unlikely to change with the Go Bowling 400, but an exciting race could draw back some viewers.

For the drivers on the track, there is plenty to be working for. The season is still young, which means nobody is out of the running. There will be plenty of opportunities to make a move to climb the standings. Getting a top ten or top five finish this week would go a long way for a number of competitors.
