2017 NFL Draft: KC Kingdom Mock Draft

Jacksonville Jaguars – Trevor Beurman

player. 52. Just missing out on Jonathan Allen and having signed Calias Campbell to a huge deal, the Jaguars should look to improve the run game. Right now Jacksonville needs a running back to either take over or learn behind Chris Ivory. Leonard Fournette is a dynamic and athletic back that will most likely be a top running back in the NFL.. Running Back. LSU. Leonard Fournette. 4

KC Kingdom Scouting Report:

To say that Fournette isn’t one of the best running backs in the draft is ludicrous. The guy will be an absolute stud at the position and will give whatever NFL team drafts him some great productivity at running back for years to come.

Insider Talk – NFL.com:

“I can’t wait to see how the draft guys pick at Fournette and tell everyone what he doesn’t do right. He was healthy last year and that is what you are going to get. Big, fast and dominant.” — NFC director of scouting

Staff Reaction:

Running back isn’t necessarily a position of need for Jacksonville with Chris Ivory and TJ Yeldon currently on the roster. However, the Jags sorely need additional playmakers in their offense. Upgrading their running game would likely take some pressure off quarterback, Blake Bortles, and allow him to improve upon his 2016 campaign. ~ Jesse Holt
