2017 NFL Draft: KC Kingdom Mock Draft

Miami Dolphins – Jesse Holt

Western Kentucky. Forrest Lamp. 26. player. 59. The Dolphins are lucky to have the Draft’s best guard fall to them here. Lamp shows great technical ability and has been lauded for his performance against Alabama last season. In addition, his versatility allows Miami to move him around the line as necessary. Offensive Guard

KC Kingdom Scouting Report:

As draft analysts watch more of his tape, you hear nothing but good things. When I watched the tape, I could see why right away. No disrespect to Leigh Oleszczak’s top guy Ryan Ramczyk, but Lamp is the top offensive lineman in this class in my book. Yes ladies and gentlemen, I love Lamp.

Insider Talk – NFL.com:

“He’s the real deal. If he can snap, you could get away with playing him all up and down the line. Great feet, strong, smart.” — AFC executive

Staff Reaction:

Miami may have gotten the best deal of the draft by trading back. The Dolphins added a third round pick, and still got a guy that I think is the best offensive lineman in the draft. That’s an incredible value. ~ Ben Almquist
