2017 NFL Draft: KC Kingdom Mock Draft

Baltimore Ravens – Jesse Holt

player. 26. Baltimore will be aided immensely by McKinley’s ability to cause disruptions behind the opponent’s line of scrimmage. He has good burst coming around the edge and has shown good pass coverage skills. This picks enables the Ravens’ pass rush to get younger, but also should increase productivity.. OLB. UCLA. Takkarist McKinley. 16

KC Kingdom Scouting Report:

There may not have been a more feared defensive player in the Pac 12 than UCLA’s Takkarist McKinley in 2016. The pass rushing specialist absolutely lived in the backfield of opposing offenses all season.

Insider Talk – NFL.com:

“He was my sleeper headed into the season, but that went out the window with the season he had this year. I think he’s a second rounder who needs time but he’ll probably get overdrafted. He’s going to be a productive pro.” – AFC area scout

Staff Reaction:

The Ravens have had their best success when the defense has been dominant. Rebuilding that identity is key for them and Takk McKinley is a good piece to add. ~ Ben Almquist
