MIKE LIVINGSTON

91 GAMES, 75 STARTS

The last guy to appear on this list is Mike Livingston, the drafted Chiefs quarterback to appear in the most games. After being the Chiefs’ second round pick in the 1968 draft, Livingston spent all 12 years of his NFL career in Kansas City.

Livingston was with the Chiefs when they were a dominant team in the late 60s and was a member of that 1969 Super Bowl team.

While Livingston was drafted to be the eventual replacement for Len Dawson, he never became a full-time starter until the mid 1970s. Livingston currently sits at sixth all-time in passing yards for the Chiefs with 11,295.

Livingston was never great at the position, throwing far more interceptions (83) than touchdowns (56). He did step in whenever Dawson went down with an injury and did enough to help the team win. He also stuck with the organization for his entire career, which you didn’t see as much back then.

Livingston was with the Chiefs when they were a dominant team in the late 60s and was a member of that 1969 Super Bowl team. He also experienced playing with the not-so-good Chiefs that were around in the mid to late 1970s.

Despite the different Chiefs teams that Mike Livingston played for while in Kansas City, Mike Livingston is the best name on this list… which is depressing considering he was drafted in 1968.
