The Kansas Jayhawk All-Time Team: The Bench
The Sixth Man: Jeff Boschee
For a sixth man you need a guy that will knock down those big shots and knock down some crucial three pointers. Jeff Boschee is exactly that. Boschee is the leading career three point scorer for the Kansas Jayhawks in the entirety of the program.
During Boschee’s career as a Jayhawk he averaged 11.4 points, 2.2 total rebounds, 3.1 assists with a 42.1 field goal percentage and a 40.1 three point percentage per SportsReference. Well known for his three point shooting prowess, Boschee was a huge threat behind the perimeter.

According to SportsReference, Jeff Boschee is 64th all-time for college basketball made three point attempts and 206th for three point field goal percentage, which leads any player ever with a Jayhawk uniform.
Even though Jeff Boschee never got a NBA career like most of the players on this list he definitely had a great college career. A great enough college career to get the sixth man spot on the all-time KU Basketball team.
The sixth man is all about that one guy that threatens the defense with his hot shooting and Boschee fills that role better than any Jayhawk ever has. Coming off the bench Boschee will space out the defense with his downtown shooting.
He is not the most athletic or powerful offensive component to the team, but he is a sure fire perimeter shooter. He also will give plenty of relief to Bud Stallworth, Paul Pierce, and Danny Manning.
