CHICAGO BEARS (THIRD OVERALL PICK)

With the Jay Cutler era likely over in Chicago, the Bears will need a new signal caller to take snaps at Soldier Field. Their biggest move this offseason was inking Mike Glennon to a large contract, despite Glennon never really being a consistent starter in the NFL.

With the Glennon acquisition, I don’t see Chicago going with a quarterback pick with their third overall selection. They lost Alshon Jeffery this offseason to the Eagles and could use a new prominent wide receiver to catch passes from Glennon.

I have the Bears on here because I don’t see Glennon as the long-term answer in the Windy City. He’ll be serviceable for a few years, being their starter in 2017 and probably 2018, but after that, it’ll be time to find a new option.

Hey who knows? Maybe Mike Glennon will be good and the Bears won’t have to worry about upgrading the quarterback spot any time soon. That’d be great news for the Chiefs, who draft much later on.
