BRANDON MOSS

The Royals signed Brandon Moss to a two-year deal this offseason and so far, he’s been incredibly disappointing. Moss has appeared in two games as the Royals’ designated hitter, but has not been hitting the ball at all.

Moss didn’t have a great average with the Cardinals over the past two years, but he’s a home run hitter. He’s belted over 20 home runs all but once over the past five seasons.

The Royals brought Moss on to be that power hitter in their lineup and so far, he’s fallen flat. He strikes out a lot and any time he gets to the plate, Royals fans are grumbling a bit because they’re not expecting Moss to make any type of play.

It’s still early in the season, but it is a little worrisome that Moss hasn’t made any impact whatsoever. He’s the only Royal in the main lineup not to have recorded a hit yet.

That should mean that Brandon Moss is due for a big game.
