The Kansas City Royals have a lot to prove once again this season, and there are five guys on the team who really have to show up big in 2017. So just who are the Royals with the most to prove this year?

After a year of going .500, the KC Royals are ready to get back into the playoffs in 2017. In order to do that, everyone on the team has to contribute in one way or another.

Last season, the Royals missed out on their third straight postseason for several reasons, but injuries is the main one. Had the entire team stayed healthy for the duration of the year, this team would have been a playoff team for sure in 2016.

This season could pose the last tour for the original group of guys, as several of them are set to hit the free agent market. I won’t be including all of those players on this list, but they definitely all have something to prove for their future in baseball.

Without further ado, let’s jump right into the members of the Kansas City Royals who have the most to prove to the team, the fans, and to everyone else.
