Big 12 NCAA Bracket Breakdown

The Iowa State Cyclones

I believe the Cyclones got screwed on Selection Sunday. They got a potent Nevada team in the First Round, one that could potentially make the Sweet Sixteen.

Even though the Cyclones have serious players in Monte Morris and Deonte Burton, Nevada is a talented matchup as well. Iowa State will need a great game to put them away, but if they do the sky is the limit.

First Round

With the Iowa State’s draw they have competition right out of the gates. Nevada will be a tough out against the Cyclones. Burton and Morris can do all they want but the talent on Nevada’s team should overtake the game.

Prediction: Iowa State 64, Nevada 69
