MITCH MORSE (Second-Round Pick, 49th Overall in 2015 NFL Draft)

Hey, another second rounder in 2015! Mitch Morse joins that list, as he was a round two selection by the Kansas City Chiefs in that draft.

Morse, who was projected as going a few rounds later, is probably the second best Tiger on this list. He’s only missed a handful of games, which were due to concussions in his rookie year.

Morse was a versatile lineman during his MU days, but the Chiefs slotted him in at center and that’s where he’s remained. He started all 16 games in 2016.

After his rookie season, Pro Football Focus ranked Morse as the seventh best option for the Rookie of the Year Candidate that season.

The former Tiger went from being “picked too high” to being one of the best players on Kansas City’s offensive line. He’s done well for his home state team.
