MARKUS GOLDEN (Second-Round Pick, 58th Overall in 2015 NFL Draft)

One of the three Mizzou Tigers to hear his name called in the second round in the 2015 NFL Draft, Markus Golden has made an impact during his two seasons in the NFL.

Golden, who was drafted by Arizona, has started nine games and appeared in 31 total in two seasons. He’s racked up 16.5 sacks, 12.5 of which came during his sophomore season as a pro.

Golden has also recorded 61 tackles and forced six fumbles. He was one of the many bright stars on the Cardinals defense last season and that’s a team that’s all about defense.

Hopefully Golden can continue to stand out and can get Arizona back to the playoffs again in 2017. While they took a step back in 2016, injuries were a big factor in that. Golden should be able to help carry the Cardinals’ defense to a nice year.
