Mizzou Football: Last Ten Tigers Selected in NFL Draft
EVAN BOEHM (Fourth-Round Pick, 128th Overall in 2016 NFL Draft)
Right out of Lee’s Summit High School, Evan Boehm became an NFL offensive line in the 2016 NFL Draft. Boehm spent time all around the Tigers’ offensive line and proved to be a perfect pick for any NFL team looking to bolster that part of their roster.
The Arizona Cardinals used their fourth-rounder on Boehm and he played in all 16 games for them during his rookie year. While he only had one start, the future looks bright for this former Tiger.
Jess Root of Cards Wire even wrote that Evan Boehm has a shot to start at two positions for the 2017 season, which proves that the Cardinals think a lot of him and his talents.
"The Arizona Cardinals drafted Evan Boehm to eventually be their starting center. That didn’t happen his rookie season, and it might not even happen in his second. Though he could begin his starting career at guard, depending on what the Cardinals do in the offseason."
While Boehm was drafted as the Cardinals’ future plan at center, he’s proven he can jump along their line and that’s valuable for any NFL franchise.
