ANTHONY COLLINS (Fourth-Round Pick, 112th Overall in 2008 NFL Draft)

It’s worth noting that there was one other guy drafted in the 2008 NFL Draft out of Kansas, but Anthony Collins gets the last spot on here due to being a fourth round pick. We’ll get to the other guy on the wrap-up slide.

Anthony Collins had success at the big league level. He was a fourth-round selection by the Cincinnati Bengals and went on to spend six years with them. His final season was with the Buccaneers in 2014, which rounded out a lengthy seven-year career as a professional football player.

Collins started 25 games in the NFL and appeared in 59 total. He didn’t have a whole lot of stats to his name, but he was made the NFL his daily job for seven years and that’s rare for Jayhawks in the last ten years to have done.

Collins was the second guy taken in the core group of 2008 KU ballers. The first one technically didn’t fall in the last ten drafted, but we’ll cover him anyway.
