CHRIS HARPER (Fourth-Round Pick, 123rd Overall in 2013 NFL Draft)

After three seasons at K-State, Chris Harper entered the NFL Draft as a middle of the road wide receiver. He had over 800 yards receiving in his final season with the Wildcats and ended up being a fourth round selection by the Seattle Seahawks.

From there, Harper disappointed. He didn’t even make the Seahawks final list of cuts heading into the 2013 season and jumped around on their practice squad to the 49ers’ practice squad and finally to the Packers’ practice squad.

Harper actually managed to see some playing time for the Packers in 2013, but as a special teams player. He appeared in four games during that season, but was cut before the 2014 season began.

The 2014-2015 seasons saw Harper with the New York Giants, who he at one point had signed a reserve contract with. He was let go early on in the 2015 season.

While Chris Harper managed to stay in the NFL for two full seasons, he was considered to be a bust due to being a fourth round draft pick and not even making it on the roster of the team that had drafted him.
