TAVON ROOKS (Sixth-Round Pick, 202nd Overall in 2014 NFL Draft)

Tavon Rooks sadly hasn’t had the success that Lockett has had in the NFL, never playing a snap in the NFL.

After being a sixth round pick by the Saints in 2014, Rooks tried his hand at his NFL dream again in 2015, spending time on practice squads of the Cardinals and the Chiefs. He spent the 2016 season out of football and sadly, it doesn’t look like Tavon Rooks will get to play in the NFL.

Rooks only spent one season with the Wildcats, previously having spent time at Navarro Junior College, according to his Wikipedia page.

Maybe Rooks can try his hand at playing in the Canadian Football League, where NFL players tend to go if things don’t work out for them in the states. This is when it’d be nice to have the XFL around still (rarely said by anyone), so that guys like Tavon Rooks could have a shot at playing football professionally.
