TYLER LOCKETT (Third-Round Pick, 69th Overall in 2015 NFL Draft)

Everyone knew about Tyler Lockett when he was entering the 2015 NFL Draft and everyone wanted their team to be the one to give him a chance.

Lockett had back-to-back seasons with over 1,000 yards receiving and eventually found himself with the Seattle Seahawks at the 69th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. The rest is (already) history, as Lockett has put his name on the board as far as dominant return specialists go.

In just two seasons in the NFL, Lockett has made an impact in both the receiving game and most definitely has done so on special teams. He’s amassed over 1,000 yards receiving with seven total touchdowns in the air, and has accumulated over 1,400 yards on punt returns.

In just two seasons in the NFL, Lockett has made an impact in both the receiving game and most definitely has done so on special teams.

While Lockett didn’t return a kick or punt return for six in year two, he had two total returns during his rookie season. His performance on both places he contributed landed him a Pro Bowl spot and an All-Pro nod.

Unfortunately, Lockett had a gruesome injury at the end of the 2016 season and had to miss the final few games of the year. Pete Carroll did say that he should be ready to go for 2017 though, which is great news.

Hopefully Lockett can continue to make his alma mater proud!
