Kansas City Chiefs Draft Board

Second Round

If the last two years are any indicators with Mitch Morse and Chris Jones, the Kansas City Chiefs know what they are doing in the 2nd round. This is a deep enough draft class that the Chiefs should have no problem grabbing yet another solid player here.

  • DeShone Kiser – QB (Notre Dame): (1st/2nd round grade)
  • Dan Feeney – G (Indiana)
  • Chidobe Awuzie – CB (Colorado)
  • Justin Evans – S (Texas A&M): With Jabril Peppers being in play late in the 1st, I’m bumping Evans down a little bit. The safety position has a lot of talent at the top end of the class.
  • Kareem Hunt – RB (Toledo)
  • Obi Melifonwu – S (Connecticut)
  • Lowell Lotulelei – DT (Utah)
  • Fabian Moreau – CB (UCLA)
  • Brad Kaaya – QB (Miami): (2nd/3rd round grade)
  • Budda Baker – S (Washington)

    :

I’m liking Baker more and more as a utility defender in the secondary who can be used in multiple roles.
