Kansas City Chiefs Draft Board

First Round

I like the idea of the Kansas City Chiefs going defense early in this draft. It’s a very strong class on that side of the ball, and it will help the team reload on their stronger side of the ball. That’s how you keep a strong unit strong in the long-term.

  • Sidney Jones – CB (Washington)
  • Teez Tabor – CB (Florida)
  • Jabril Peppers – S (Michigan): I didn’t think Peppers would be available to the Chiefs, but it seems like more and more analysts have him going late in the 1st. That puts him in play.
  • Cordrea Tankersley – CB (Clemson)
  • Carlos Watkins – DT (Clemson)
  • Forrest Lamp – OG (Western Kentucky)
  • Charles Harris – OLB (Missouri)
  • DeShone Kiser – QB (Notre Dame): (1st/2nd round grade)
  • Christian McCaffrey – RB (Stanford)
  • Zach Cunningham – ILB (Vanderbilt)
