Keys To March Madness

Priority One: Frank Mason III

I do not see Kansas winning the NCAA Tournament without Frank Mason III, let alone making a Final Four run.

Mason is way too valuable to this team. If he were to get injured before the NCAA Tournament even started, there is close to no chance that Kansas will advance without him.

Twenty-seven games into the 2016-2017 season, Mason is averaging 20.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, and five assists. He is the heart and soul of this team, and Kansas has trouble winning without his full potential, as the 80-79 win against the Red Raiders showed.

With Mason entering his final season as a Jayhawk it is hard to think that he will not be working as hard as he can to get his championship ring. If his senior leadership can be at an all-time high for the tournament, KU Basketball should have a deep run in the tournament this year.
