Eric Hosmer

Eric Hosmer was one of the only Royals last season who didn’t get banged up, but he still saw a sharp decline in production in the second half of the season.

Hosmer’s tale of two players is going to be examined closely this season as he tries to prove his worth. He’s already proven his on-field values to the Royals and their fans, but now he’ll try to prove that his bank account should be exponentially larger than it already is.

Eric Hosmer’s anthem for the 2017 season is ‘Worth It’ by Fifth Harmony featuring Kid Ink.

If the Royals can find a way to re-sign their first baseman, it’ll undoubtedly be the largest contract in team history and will most likely be the first 100-million dollar deal the Royals have ever handed out.

He’s shown he can be a leader on the field and in the clubhouse and he’s great with the community, but those dollars are going to be based on his on-field production.
