The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback situation is always an entertaining one. How does Alex Smith fare against the other guys available in free agency? Here’s a breakdown of Smith and Tyrod Taylor.
It’s not crazy to say that the Kansas City Chiefs would have made it past the AFC Divisional Round of the playoffs had they had a different quarterback. That’s not to put everything that went wrong on the shoulders of Alex Smith.
Smith didn’t have a horrible game, but there’s definitely an argument that he didn’t make the big plays when he needed to the most. That’s where most of the critiques stem from.
With another early exit in the postseason, however, the buzz is growing as far as the KC Chiefs’ quarterback situation goes.
Alex Smith has been a controversial figure for awhile now and everyone in Kansas City has an opinion on him, whether it be good or bad.
With all of that said, however, there is no doubt that the Chiefs could do much worse at quarterback. We all know that to be true, even if some people wouldn’t want to admit it. On the flip side, fans also know that the Chiefs could do much better.
This offseason will bring up basically every available quarterback as an option for the Kansas City Chiefs. So I’m going to go through this one option at a time and we’ll see if we can find that better option. Today we’ll look at Tyrod Taylor of the Buffalo Bills. So let’s see how they compare…
