RANKING EVERY CHIEFS GAME FROM 2016 SEASON: NUMBER 14 – WEEK 11 VS BUCCANEERS (19-17 LOSS)

After an impressive run of five-straight wins, Chiefs Kingdom was waiting for the other shoe to drop with this team. That shoe happened to drop on my birthday, which made it even worse of a loss for me.

This was yet another bad loss for the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium. The Buccaneers handled the Chiefs pretty much through the entire game and a late interception in the end zone by Alex Smith pretty much sealed the deal.

The Bucs game and the Titans game were pretty similar in several ways. They had the same score, Alex Smith threw an interception in the end zone in both games, and the Chiefs fell at home in an environment that’s supposed to be intimidating for opponents.

While losing this game was tough, the Chiefs just happened to play the Buccaneers during a time in which they were extremely hot. This win began Tampa Bay’s five-game win streak of their own and they’d go on to narrowly miss out on the playoffs.
