RANKING EVERY CHIEFS GAME FROM 2016 SEASON: NUMBER 3: WEEK 16 VS BRONCOS (33-10 WIN)

You were probably wondering when the Broncos were finally going to appear on this list. Well, here’s one game from them!

Arrowhead Stadium played host to Sunday Night Football on Christmas night and as someone who attended this game, I can say it was a ton of fun. It rained on and off all night, but no one in the stands seemed to care because the Chiefs put on an exciting game for all of their fans in attendance.

This was actually a pretty close game all throughout, but the Chiefs offense looked electric in the first half. Alex Smith started things off by rushing for a touchdown, Tyreek Hill then took the ball 70 yards for a touchdown, and Travis Kelce made up for a Smith interception by taking a screen pass 80 yards to the house.

The Chiefs eliminated the Broncos on Christmas. That was pretty freaking awesome and a great Christmas gift to all of Chiefs Kingdom.

The Chiefs were up 21-10 at the half, but it just seemed like there was still unfinished business.

After a boring third quarter, the Chiefs picked up the smackdown with two more field goals and a touchdown pass from Dontari Poe to Demetrius Harris. Arrowhead Stadium was going nuts.

Before this game began, the Chiefs knew they were going to the playoffs after the Ravens faltered in Pittsburgh, but this win had even bigger playoff implications. One, it meant that the AFC West crown was still up for grabs, and two, it eliminated the Denver Broncos from playoff contention.
