The Kansas City Chiefs had 17 total games during the 2016 season. After going 12-4 this past season and winning the AFC West, there were more good games than bad. KC Kingdom decided it’d be fun to rank them all from worst to first!

Heading into 2016, the schedule looked simpler than some of the more recent schedules in the past. At season’s end, the KC Chiefs ended their 2016 campaign with a 12-4 record, an AFC West title, and a home playoff game.

We all know how the season ended, and believe me, we’ll get to that game shortly.

With 12 victories and only four losses (well, five if you count the playoffs, which I will in this post), this list will be mostly positive. Readers will just have to suffer through the first five losses before getting to the 12 wins! Hooray!

So, without further ado, let’s get to the rankings of every single game from the 2016 Kansas City Chiefs season!

RANKING EVERY CHIEFS GAME FROM 2016 SEASON: NUMBER 17 – AFC DIVISIONAL ROUND VS STEELERS (18-16 LOSS)

I really don’t have to say anything more than yet another first round exit from the playoffs, but for the sake of the article, I’ll go into detail.

The offense looked electric on their first drive of the game and then completely vanished until the final few minutes. By then it was too late, of course, even though the defense managed to hold the Steelers high-powered offense to six field goals.

They did allow Pittsburgh’s offense to march down the field, but kept them out of the end zone. Had the defense not done their part, this game would have been a blowout by the end of the first half.

This was a depressing loss for Chiefs Kingdom because it was the same story, just a different year.
