Kansas City Chiefs: Senior Bowl And Prospect Preview
By Ben Almquist
Stock On The Decline
If the Kansas City Chiefs had their eyes on any of these guys, they may not be watching them much longer.
Ben Boulware – ILB – Clemson: I wasn’t particularly high on the undersized Ben Boulware in the first place. That was pretty much solidified this week as the senior linebacker struggled. You tend to wait until the game to judge a linebacker, but Boulware was routinely getting beaten in drills. That’s going to leave an impression on the scouts in attendance.
Amba Etta-Tawo – WR – Rutgers: The enigmatic Amba Etta-Tawo has had an up and down career in college. Two solid seasons tempered by a pair of very unimpressive seasons has scouts guessing on him. What Etta-Tawo really needed was a strong Senior Bowl week to show who he was. Instead, he didn’t truly stand out anywhere and even suffered a dislocated finger. It’s a week to forget.
Jalen Robinette – WR – Air Force: There were very few players who came into the Senior Bowl with more online hype than Jalen Robinette. However, his dominance in the regular season did not translate to this week’s activities. Robinette seemed to disappear and looked just average (if not below) against the better defensive back talent.
