Why Chiefs fans should root against the Patriots

The biggest reason Chiefs fans will root against the Patriots is due to “Patriot Fatigue”.

Simply put, most Chiefs fans are sick of the reign of terror that our friends in Foxborough have put on the AFC over the last decade plus. Plus, there might be more than a little bad blood from Chiefs fans against the Patriots after last season’s Divisional Round ouster.

Second, the Patriots have been at the center of many controversies over the past few years and have developed a reputation as cheaters.

Between Spygate and Deflategate, coverage on the team’s many sins has burnt a lot of people out. We’re not even including the various fire alarms in opposing teams’ hotels or radio issues that happen to pop up at Gillette Stadium each season.

Simply put – the Patriots are always in the Super Bowl and it’s time for some new blood.
