MOST DISAPPOINTING CHIEFS IN 2016 – NUMBER 5: CHARCANDRICK WEST

When Jamaal Charles went down in 2015, the natural reaction was to go to Knile Davis to get the majority of the snaps. Instead, some guy by the name of Charcandrick West grabbed hold of the starting job and became a fan favorite in Kansas City.

Fans hoped that West would replicate that success in 2016, but that definitely did not happen. West was injured at the start of the season, paving way for Spencer Ware to be the starter.

In fact, West only started two games in 2016, but managed to appear in all but one. He had 88 carries for 293 yards, one rushing touchdown, 28 receptions for 188 yards, and two receiving scores.

This just wasn’t the type of season that West was supposed to have. He was supposed to be a legitimate second-string running back after getting an extension at the end of last season.

Instead, Charcandrick West was a no brainer for one of the most disappointing players this season.
