Good: Somehow Holding Steelers to Field Goals

Despite giving up 389 total yards of offense to the Steelers, the Kansas City Chiefs defense somehow was able to hold them to six field goals. The Chiefs were lucky that those plays didn’t lead to touchdowns because they should have been blown out in this game when you look at the stats.

They didn’t let Big Ben throw a single touchdown pass and somehow kept Le’Veon Bell out of the end zone. Those were both huge moments for this game, but in the end, it didn’t matter.

Steelers kicker Chris Boswell converted on all six of his field goal attempts and deserved to win the MVP award in this game. If only the Chiefs could have just stopped them on one of those drives or Bosh had missed one of those attempts.

Oh, what could have been.

I would love to say that Pittsburgh was lucky to have won this game, but that’d just be out of jealousy. The truth is that they deserved to win, even if they did win off of six field goals.
