Wild Man in the Wild Card Game (2014 Wild Card)

The 2014 Wild Card Game is still probably the most memorable game to Royals fans. Yes, even over the World Series games or any other playoff games.

That game meant so much because of the way the Royals battled back and reigned victorious in the end.

Jarrod Dyson had a few key moments in the Wild Card Game. His speed was a huge necessity to the boys in blue, which is why he was put into the game as a pinch runner in the ninth inning.

Josh Willingham had singled and Alcides Escobar then bunted Dyson to second. Royals fans knew that Dyson had the balls to steal third and needed to, as it was a do-or-die situation.

The Royals trailed 7-6 in the bottom of the ninth and had one out. Would Dyson risk a precious out to steal a base? You bet your ass he would!

Dyson successful stole third base and then tied the game up on a Nori Aoki sacrifice fly. The Royals would go on to win in 11 innings in what was arguably the best game ever played in KC Royals history.
