Over the Shoulder and OUT! (2015 Vs Rays)

The day after Alex Gordon had gone down with an injury, the Royals hosted the Rays in a day game at The K. Yordano Ventura had allowed a guy on first base and looked like he could be in trouble when Grady Sizemore hit a ball out towards left field.

Dyson was running towards the wall and with total focus, managed to catch the ball over his shoulders. The even cooler part was when he then turned around and threw the ball to Eric Hosmer and connected for the double play.

That play got the Royals out of the inning without any damage and it was all in thanks to Dyson’s defensive talents.

Just making the catch there would have been noteworthy enough, but Dyson was so clutch that he was able to get the baseball to Hosmer and record two outs in the process.

I’m going to miss plays like this.
