Week 2 – Chiefs at Texans

Chiefs lost 19-12 (My prediction: 24-14, Texans)

I had a feeling that after so many beatdowns that the Chiefs issued on the Houston Texans that they’d finally be out for blood against the KC Chiefs.

This was a frustrating early season loss for the Chiefs and had these two teams played later in the season, Kansas City would have destroyed the Texans.

The most recent beatdown had come in the playoffs, where the Chiefs got their first playoff win since 1994. The Chiefs owned Houston in that game, shutting them out 30-0 on their own turf. It had to be infuriating for Texans fans to see their team falter to the Chiefs time and time again, but they got their revenge early this season.

"This game just screams trap game to me. It’s one that the Chiefs should win, but I’m just not feeling it."

Before we all knew the Brock Osweiler Experiment would be a total failure for the Texans, he actually looked okay in his first two games. He threw two interceptions in this game, but the Chiefs offense couldn’t do anything and their only points came off of four Cairo Santos field goals.

This was a frustrating early season loss for the Chiefs and had these two teams played later in the season, Kansas City would have destroyed the Texans. They almost got their chance to show that in the playoffs this year, but now will have a home game instead.

This was an embarrassing loss, but I had a feeling the Texans would be out for blood in this one. They finally got their long awaited revenge on Kansas City, something both Houston’s NFL and MLB fans wanted to see happen.

Chiefs: 1-1 (Leigh: 2-0)
