Travis Kelce – TE

The Kansas City Chiefs most effective receiver this year might actually be their tight end Travis Kelce. Kelce has emerged this year as a big play threat and one of the most dangerous players in the NFL. The big tight end showed his ability to make things happen in Week 16 against the Broncos with a big 80 yard touchdown catch that saw him pulling away from defenders.

When you have a big man that can move the way Travis Kelce can, there isn’t any point that you don’t have the ability to score. With his size and strength, Kelce can shake off smaller defensive backs. From there it is just a matter of him being faster than the linebackers who have to try and catch him. That is a dangerous combination.

Kelce’s presence on the field has another benefit in that he immediately draws attention in the middle of the field. Teams have to adjust for him being there, which can open holes in the opposing defense. When you have fast receivers like the Chiefs do, that can quickly turn into big time plays.
