. . SPECIAL TEAMS. A-.

Once again, the Kansas City Chiefs special teams shone bright, and they did so on a Tyreek Hill punt returned for a touchdown. Hill finished the season with 12 total touchdowns and recorded a return touchdown against every single team in the division.

The kicking game also came through in the clutch with Cairo Santos going a perfect three-for-three on field goal attempts and four-for-four on extra point attempts.

Dustin Colquitt only had to punt one time (technically twice due to a penalty flag), but knocked the football down inside the five.

The Chiefs special teams have been responsible for some pretty crucial Chiefs wins this season and if Tyreek Hill can make a big play or two here and there in the divisional round, then there’s no reason this team can’t make it to the AFC Championship Game. Just saying that sentence gives me the chills… but in a good way.
