OVERALL OFFENSE. B+. . .

The offense had opportunities to put up points on Sunday and they did just that, scoring 37 against the Chargers. The offense has been looking swell over their past few games and my fingers are crossed that Andy Reid continues to call plays the same way he has in these games.

Sunday saw Smith tossing two touchdown passes, both to Charcandrick West, and also running for one on the day. He was looking good in San Diego (I’d likely give him a B+ as well, but he will not have his own section on the report card this week) and that’s encouraging heading into the playoffs.

The offense has had a rough go of it at times this season, but this was a convincing performance from them. The only things that bugged me were that Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill weren’t getting the football as much as they should have been. That needs to change, however, we saw the offense could do just fine without their key players shining.

Jeremy Maclin and Chris Conley both had some impressive catches, which was fantastic to witness. Conley in particular had some great grabs and we started to see some juice from the second-year veteran.
