The KC Chiefs took care of business against the San Diego Chargers on New Years Day to the tune of 37-27. The victory and the Raiders loss gave the Chiefs their first division title since 2010 and the two-seed in the AFC playoffs.

WOOHOO! THE CHIEFS WON THE AFC WEST AND HAVE A FIRST ROUND BYE!!!

Sorry, just had to get that excitement out of my system. The Chiefs won the division for the first time since 2010 when Todd Haley and Matt Cassel were in town, only this time, they freaking earned it, man.

The Kansas City Chiefs swept the division for the first time since 1995. That in itself is huge and they finish the season with a 12-4 record and a first round bye in the postseason. Bring. It. On.

This is an exciting moment for KC Chiefs fans, but we still have work to do. Yes, the team has a week off to prepare for whoever will travel to Arrowhead in the Divisional Round, but for the time being, celebrate, Chiefs Kingdom! You deserve it!

All right, let’s get to the final regular season report card. Most of the grades are pretty good this week, but there were a few less than stellar markings.
