Chargers receiver Keenan Allen called out Kansas City Chiefs corner Marcus Peters. So here are five things about San Diego that make us laugh.

As the 2016 NFL regular season comes to a close, the Kansas City Chiefs are still in a position to take the AFC West title. The Chiefs have already locked up a spot in the playoffs, but getting some homefield advantage is never a bad thing. However, I don’t know that homefield is all that important to this Chiefs team. They’ve won some impressive games on the road this year.

Of course, first thing is first. The Chiefs have to take on the San Diego Chargers. Now, this is the part where I normally start to break down the opponent. That’s not happening this week. Why not? Well, that’s because Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen decided to go and start some stuff, calling out Chiefs cornerback Marcus Peters.

Trash talking is pretty common in the NFL. You see it all the time on the field as players go back and forth. However, when a guy starts talking and he isn’t even playing, well now it’s time for a little dose of reality to be served up.

I’m not going to lie. For the small amount of time that Keenan Allen was on the field against the Chiefs, he was balling. Yes, a lot of that came against Marcus Peters. Those are undeniable facts. However, when you have played all of eight complete games in the last two years, you need to put your mouth in check. Allen’s ego is writing checks that other players will have to cash.

So yeah, here are five reasons why Keenan Allen needs to check his trash talking…
