BAD: ELIJAH LEE GOING PRO?

Elijah Lee announced after the game on Wednesday that he was going to talk things over his with family before making a decision on his future.

Hopefully the kid decides to stay in school for his senior season because the Kansas State Wildcats could really use him in 2017.

This is obviously a HUGE decision for the Kansas State Wildcats, as Lee is a massive piece in the K-State defense. Lee has spent several years in Manhattan and led the team in tackles this season with 110.

Lee’s two interceptions along with his lone forced fumble (and recovery of that fumble) have been huge plays made by the big time linebacker. If he departs for the pros, it’d definitely hurt this KSU squad.

Should Lee forego his senior season and enter the 2017 NFL Draft, he could probably be a late round draft pick and could work his way up the ranks in no time with the talent he possesses. Hopefully the kid decides to stay in school for his senior season because the Kansas State Wildcats could really use him in 2017.

This isn’t necessarily BAD, I guess. More like sad because K-State football fans would hate to see Elijah Lee leave, but understand that he’d be doing what’s best for him and his family.
