Kansas City Chiefs 2015 Season: Postseason Victory

It had been 23 years since the Kansas City Chiefs had won in the postseason. However, in 2015 Andy Reid would make that just another check in the box as the Chiefs absolutely destroyed the Texans in Houston. The Chiefs would then fall short to the Patriots the next week, but it was still a huge monkey off of their back.

It was almost a lost season for the Chiefs. A 1-5 start that saw the loss of Jamaal Charles for the year had many fans close to calling for a regime change. 10 straight victories later, Kansas City was back in the playoffs putting a hurting (both figuratively and literally) on JJ Watt and the Texans defense.

Kansas City would lose the next week against a strong New England team. However, the bar had been set. There were new expectations among Kansas City Chiefs fans. Chiefs Kingdom now expected this team to compete for more than just a spot in the postseason. Now we wanted to see titles. We wanted division crowns and high seeds in the playoffs. We wanted a Super Bowl win.
