AFC Playoffs 5th Seed

Kansas City Chiefs (11-4)

Andy Reid has the Kansas City Chiefs back in the postseason for the third time in four years. The Chiefs have emerged as a dangerous team in the NFL this season and have certainly earned their spot in the postseason. Expectations are high in Kansas City and the team is talented enough to meet them.

The Chiefs currently hold a Wild Card spot, but they are in striking position of the AFC West title. Kansas City needs to win on Sunday and also get an Oakland loss. Both of those scenarios are very possible, if not probable even. Of course, the Chiefs are a bit notorious when it comes to dropping the ball when they shouldn’t.

KC’s final regular season game of 2016 will be played in San Diego. The Chargers don’t seem to have much to play for, and are also pretty beat up. It’s hard to imagine this team getting up for this game, but you never know with San Diego. The Chiefs have plenty to be confident about though as they currently sit at 5-0 in the AFC West. A win on Sunday would sweep the division for KC.
