AFC Playoffs 6th Seed

Miami Dolphins(10-5)

The team currently holding the Wild Card spot opposite of the Kansas City Chiefs is the Miami Dolphins. It’s hard to know what to expect of Miami in the postseason. This is a team that has earned respect by winning ten games this year. However, when you go over their list of wins, it’s hard to find a truly quality victory on their schedule.

Regardless of how anything plays out, the Dolphins are locked into a Wild Card spot. Exactly which spot that is remains to be seen. Miami can grab the 5th seed by winning this Sunday against the Patriots, and if the Chiefs lose to the Chargers. It doesn’t seem to be a likely scenario, but there is certainly a chance things play out that way.

The Miami Dolphins won’t have an easy road leading up to the playoffs. While many #1 seeds will rest their players in Week 17, that seems unlikely with the Patriots. There is still a chance that New England drops to the #2 spot in the postseason. That would require them to lose, so I don’t see Bill Belichick taking any chances with that.
