GOOD: RUN DEFENSE

After getting popped against the Titans last week, the run defense bounced back well, only allowing the Broncos to rush for 63 yards off of 14 carries. Denver’s leading rusher, Devontae Booker, had 27 yards off of five carries.

The run defense has been a weak spot on Kansas City’s roster this year, but they fared well in this one. They were doing so well that Siemian ended up throwing the ball a total of 43 times in this game, which shows that the men up front were doing work and made the Broncos give up on their run game pretty quickly.

Chris Jones has been excellent as a rookie, Rakeem Nunez-Roches could be looking at a starting job next year, and you wouldn’t know that Allen Bailey and Jaye Howard have missed a good chunk of the season.

Just imagine this front group of guys next season when everyone is healthy. My oh my.
